Volunteers are helping local to with very timely knowledge indeed as the world waits optimis tically and euphorically for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing just over the horizon. On the official Beijing 2008 Olympic Games website-the essence of the Olympic Games and Olympic spirit is captured and the One World 每 One Dream is highlighted: "＃Unity, Friend-ship, Progress, Harmony, Participation, and Dream. It represents the wishes of all people all over the world inspired by Olympic ideals to strive for a bright future of Mankind". No need to be scared of China, in less just 300 days the start of the Summer Games the imaginary communication barriers will fall and the forbidden cities of cultural barriers will cease to exist. Ironically, the Great Wall of China which was originally designed to keep foreigners out is now the main reason they come to China 每 10 million visit the Great Wall every year.
The imaginary barriers between east and west will be lifted and the new China will be the 8th wonder to the world for all to see. China shares its borders with 14 countries including Nepal, Vietnam, Pakistan, Russia, India and Tajikistan 每 to name a few. On august 8th, 2008 China will begin to get to know every borderland and another 200 more countries as China plays gracious host to the world.
