Shanghai is the most convenient city to fly here and Hangzhou is the closest large city to take a bus tour to the Mountain.
Usually, we suggest our clients fly here from Shanghai and fly back or to Guangzhou two days later. For the backpackers, they often take a bus tour here from Hangzhou then take a night train to Guilin or Nanjing after the local tour. We can book you train sleepers if you need to. Remember to allocate your schedule at least two days for your Yellow Mountain tour, otherwise, you can't cover the highlights on the top.
