After you finish your cruise tour on the Yangtze River, you can take a night train from Yichang and arrive at neighboring city to Yellow Mountain the next morning.
The train number is K254, which departures Yichang at 14 in the afternoon and arrives at Quzhou at 07:30 the next morning. A soft sleeper costs 540 yuan, while a hard sleeper only 360 yuan. Then you can get onto the top the Yellow Mountain in 4 hours, which means that you can et you lunch on the top with beautiful scenses around.

If you want to take a Yangtze River cruise tour after your Yellow Mountain trekking, I strongly suggest you take the train vice versa: K253 which departure Quzhou at 21:20 in the evening and arrives at Yichang  before 15 the next afternoon. The ticket rate is the same as the above trip.
