Short Tour off Your Business Trip to Shanghai
Shanghai is the largest commercial and financial centre in China as well as an important international port city. If you have a business trip to Shanghai you can have one day trip to the following spots:
1. Hangzhou 1 Day Tour
In 13th century, Marco Polo praised Hangzhou as the most beautiful city in the world. It is reputed as "if there is a paradise in the sky, Suzhou and Hangzhou are those on earth".
Take the express train from Southern Train Station to Hangzhou ( 1 hour) and have a cruise tour on the west lake then have a free hiking along the dikes and you can pass many beautiful gardens. Have a local flavor (sweet and sour steamed fish) as lunch and then take a cab to have a city tour then end at railway station. Take the same kind of train back to Shanghai.

Suzhou Private Garden Tour
Suzhou is famous with the landscaped garden and it also reputed as "Venice of China". Take the express train or just call a cab to go to Suzhou (1 hour trip). After arrival, you can go to visit some ancient private gardens which are either quite small. But remember they used to be private
properties and now as public gardens. Next, watch the Silk Fashion Show. And then back to Shanghai late in the afternoon.

Yellow Mountain Weekend Hiking
You can fly to Huangshan City on Friday night, as only two morning flights are available from Shanghai to Huangshan every week. There are two flights in the evening. Stay overnight at 4 star hotels at downtown.
On Saturday you can take a private coach to the national park (2 hours) and get onto the top by cable car. Walking 20 minutes down steps, you will check in your hotel and then out for sightseeing. The well-known scenic spots are as follows: Begin-believe Peak, Freshness Terrace, and Bright Top, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion etc..

On Sunday Morning you can watch sunrise in front of your hotel and back to your hotel for buffet breakfast. Get down to bottom by cable car and you can go to a local village to have a free chat with the farmers, or to a Ming village ---Hongtsun Village, a world cultural heritage, to see the ancient houses and have a free chat with the descendents of the house builder. Then you will be back to the downtown, have a stroll on the early commercial street, with hundreds of shops selling local products and souvenirs. After dinner you can either fly to shanghai or your next destination.
